Salleri Branch Commencement [ Back ]

Kathmandu, November 22, 2011: Clean Energy Development Bank Ltd. (CEDB) has commenced its eighth branch in the district of Mount Everest at Salleri, Solukhumbu amidst supportive locals. Speaking today at the event, branch manager, Gokarna Sedhain, outlined the widespread growth strategy of the Bank and said, “CEDB intends to expand further in its commitment to provide excellence in the banking business all over Nepal including the remotest places before any other bank.” He further added that CEDB is proud to be the first private sector national level bank to extend its branch in Salleri.

CEDB is the only national level development bank in the country that currently maintains an authorized capital of NPR 1.10 Billion, and an issued and paid-up capital of NPR 1.08 Billion. Furthermore, the Bank’s deposit currently stands at NPR 4.09 Billion and loans at NPR. 3.92 Billion. CEDB is the first national level development bank to have a focused developmental agenda towards harnessing the nation’s abundant natural resources in addition to uplifting the standards of living of the people of Nepal. CEDB is committed to playing a proactive role in finding the best solutions to create an effective platform for the sustainable development of the country.
